FairwayRoster sends informational and transactional text messages to verified phone numbers for league and event operations. This page shows how users opt in and what they agree to—separate from our general Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
How users opt in
Users opt in by entering a mobile phone number in FairwayRoster and checking the consent box that describes SMS messaging before submitting. Phone verification may be required. Consent is captured at the same time as the phone number and checkbox—submitting the form without checking the box does not opt the user in.

Where this appears in FairwayRoster (illustration)
Signed-in users manage phone and text preferences under Me → Profile. The layout below is a static mockup of those notification controls (not interactive here).
After you opt in
- Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message, or disable league text notifications in Profile when available.
- Help: Reply HELP for help, or email info@fairwayroster.com.
- Message frequency varies with your league activity, schedule, and preferences.
